WhatsApp-native sharing
How BOS.dog uses WhatsApp to connect facilities and parents — without a chatbot.
How it works
BOS.dog generates pre-formatted WhatsApp deep links for every shareable moment. When staff taps 'Share via WhatsApp', the phone opens WhatsApp with the message and link already composed — ready to send to the parent. There's no chatbot, no WhatsApp Business API, and no automated messaging. Staff controls when and what gets shared. This keeps things simple, personal, and aligned with how Indian businesses already communicate.
What parents receive
The messages are short and warm, with a link to the relevant page. At check-in: 'Hi Priya! Luna is settling in with us. Follow their stay here — we'll post care logs and photos throughout.' During the stay: 'Just a quick peek at Luna's stay so far.' At checkout: 'Luna's stay is complete. Here's the full record — care logs, photos, and their report card.' For evening digests, the message includes a brief summary of the day along with links to both the daily snapshot and the full stay page.
What can be shared
Every key moment in the boarding journey has a shareable link: the live stay page (real-time care timeline), daily updates (evening summary with photos), report cards (end-of-stay summary with stats), invoices (GST-ready with payment tracking), intake forms (pre-stay questionnaire for the parent to fill), and KYC reminders (a direct link to the document upload page for parents who haven't verified their identity yet). All links are token-based — they work without any login or app install, and they can be expired or revoked by the facility at any time.
